Changes in your skin can happen when you least expect it:

Wrinkles

Most commonly seen first in areas that are used a lot in expression. Over time, skin loses elasticity and lines are more prevalent. Very fine lines are usually first noticed between the ages of 25-30.

A lot of damage is actually created before the age of 18. Sun damage usually begins to surface between the ages of 30 and 35. Small brown spots will surface first, usually only a few, then more come out as the individual ages.

Acne Scarring

Marks or indentations that are left from where acne had occurred on the face. As a person ages, the scarring can become more noticeable due to the lack of collagen and elasticity in the skin.

Possible Treatments: Micro-Needling or Chemical Peels, Skin Care Products

Hormonal Acne

Usually occurs around the mouth, chin and jawline on women. Typically is worse a week before and the week of the menstrual cycle.

Possible Treatments: Isolaz™, Skin Care Products, Peels

Rosacea

Redness, flushing and/or small pimples in the cheek area. Can look better at times and worse at other times.

Melasma (commonly referred to as pregnancy mask)

Brown pigment on the skin that often comes out in women during pregnancy or after pregnancy. It is caused from sun exposure and being on birth control or being pregnant. Once the pigmentation has formed, it has a memory. The brown pigment tends to fade in the winter months and look dark again in the summer. For some, it might only affect the upper lip area or small areas on the cheeks or forehead — others might have it all over the face like a masking.
